The H-4WMM16J7X/V directional spool valve is part of the WM Directional Spool Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is intended to route pressurized fluid in hydraulic automation circuits. Manual control is provided by a hand lever, allowing the operator to shift the spool through an actuating angle of 26 degrees on each side for full port changeover. A spring return pushes the spool back to its neutral position once the lever is released, and 75 N of force is required to overcome this spring so that the lever effort stays consistent. The valve is built to the nominal size 16, giving it a maximum flow capacity of 300 l/min suited for medium-to-high volume systems. Working lines a, b, and p can be charged up to 350 bar, while port T is limited to 250 bar to protect downstream components. An internal leakage drain can tolerate up to 160 bar, preventing seal damage during pressure spikes.
The unit provides four main ports to integrate pressure, return, and actuator lines, and these ports follow the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 pattern so that it mates with common subplates. Mechanical mounting conforms to DIN 24340 Form A16, and the screws must be tightened to 75 Nm to achieve reliable sealing without plate distortion. The valve can be installed in any position, which simplifies manifold layout, and FKM seals are used to resist synthetic or high-temperature hydraulic fluids. System cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 20/18/15 so that the spool and lands do not stick or wear prematurely. Together, these specifications define a compact hand-operated valve that fits standard manifolds, handles high system pressures, and maintains performance across varied installation conditions.
