The H-4WMM16G7X/F valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the WM Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automation systems that rely on manual control. A 4/3 directional design offers four main flow paths and three spool positions, and the spool is marked with symbol G to indicate its switching logic. Four main ports are arranged to the DIN 24340 Form A, ISO 4401 pattern so the body mounts on standard subplates. A hand lever shifts the spool, and each end position is reached by turning the lever 26 degrees from center in either direction. A detent holds the lever once the desired position is reached, eliminating the need for continuous hand force. The valve can be installed in any orientation, giving designers freedom when routing pipework.
The unit tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar at ports A, B and P and carries up to 300 L/min in size 16 circuits, making it suitable for high-flow actuators. Only mineral oil of HL or HLP classification is approved, and NBR seals contain this fluid across the pressure range. Internal leakage is routed through a dedicated L drain port, while tank port T may see up to 250 bar when the drain is used; if the drain is omitted, tank pressure must stay below 160 bar. The valve requires oil cleanliness no worse than ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent edge wear and sticking of the spool.
