Ports P, a, and b may be loaded up to 315 bar when the housing temperature is at or below 80 °C, whereas port T is limited to 160 bar under the same thermal condition to protect the return channel. If the valve body reaches higher temperatures, system pressure must be reduced to 100 bar to prevent material fatigue. An external drain line can carry up to 6.5 bar, ensuring leakage oil is conveyed safely to the reservoir. Service temperatures from –20 °C to +80 °C permit outdoor or foundry installation without performance loss. During assembly the bolts securing the body to the subplate are tightened to 9 Nm, maintaining seal compression and positional stability under cyclic loading.
