The H-4WH25C6X/ valve belongs to the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation tasks that require controlled flow direction. It uses hydraulic actuation, so pilot pressure alone moves the spool without electrical or manual input. The unit provides two spool positions, enabling a simple switched flow path between ports. For reliable shifting in the two-position design, the pilot stage needs at least 13 bar, while pilot lines may be supplied up to 250 bar without damage. Each switch movement displaces 28.4 cm³ of pilot oil, a consideration for sizing the pilot circuit accumulator. Drain port T may see up to 250 bar, and the external drain port Y also tolerates 250 bar, enabling flexible tank or case-drain routing in high back-pressure systems. A fluid cleanliness level of 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 is required to preserve spool fit and prevent sticking. The calculated mean time to dangerous failure is 150 years according to EN ISO 13849, giving a high reliability figure for safety-related designs.
