In hydraulic automation it switches flow paths between pump, actuator, and tank according to electrical commands while its hydraulic pilot stage moves the main spool. Electro-hydraulic actuation allows low solenoid power to shift a larger NG25 main stage so the valve can be mounted where space is limited but high flow is demanded.
