The H-4WEH25J6X/6EW110N9ESDAL/B10D3 CSA directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and is intended to switch flow between work ports in hydraulic automation. Its nominal size of 25 sets the internal flow passages to handle medium-to-high volume circuits without excessive pressure drop. The main flow paths tolerate a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, enabling use in heavy-duty presses and mobile machinery. Pilot oil is supplied internally through port X, so no external feed line is required, while pilot oil is returned externally through port Y to isolate control oil from the tank circuit. The pilot stage can be charged up to 250 bar, and port Y itself is limited to 160 bar to protect return lines. A D3 secondary pressure rating of 45 bar provides an additional limit for auxiliary functions that branch off the primary network.
The recommended cleanliness class is ISO 4406 20/18/15, indicating that filtration must keep particle counts below this level to prevent spool sticking and seat wear. Acceptable hydraulic fluid viscosity spans from 2.8 mm²/s to 500 mm²/s, allowing operation with thin startup oils as well as thicker fluids at high load. Fluid temperature may range from –20 °C to +80 °C, covering typical ambient and system heat rise conditions. The subplate interface follows ISO 4401, so the valve fits standard manifolds without adapter plates. Installation uses M12 × 60 screws per ISO 4762, and each screw must be tightened to 100 Nm to maintain seal compression under pressure cycles. A 1.0 mm throttle insert orifice is provided to meter pilot flow, damping actuation shocks and improving directional stability.
