The valve functions within ambient temperatures from –15 °C to +50 °C when FKM seals are used, and it accepts hydraulic fluid from –15 °C up to +80 °C, covering cold starts and elevated oil temperatures. Oil cleanliness must reach class 20/18/15 according to ISO 4406 to prevent wear in the precision spool lands. The assembly weighs 19.0 kg, so adequate support is required on the subplate.
