The H-4WEH25H6X/6EG24N9S2DA valve is part of the WEH Directional Spool Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is used to direct oil flow in automated hydraulic circuits. It employs a 4/2-way spool, symbol D, so the actuator can shift between two circuit states. Electro-hydraulic actuation moves the main spool when a pilot signal is present, and that signal acts on actuating side A to simplify manifold layout. The flow passage corresponds to nominal size NG25, giving sufficient port area for medium-to-high flow systems. Main ports P, A, and B withstand up to 350 bar, allowing installation in high-pressure lines. At that pressure the valve passes 300 l/min, while the flow climbs to 700 l/min when system pressure is 70 bar. Once the control signal is removed, the hydraulic return circuit pushes the spool back to its rest position.
The pilot solenoid operates on 24 V DC, designation G24, so the electronics can share common machine control supplies. A concealed manual override marked N9 is provided for commissioning or emergency shifting without electrical power. Pilot channels tolerate pressures up to 250 bar, yet the spool still changes state with as little as 13 bar, which supports low-pressure startup. The tank port T is rated for 250 bar, and the separate drain port Y for 210 bar, protecting seals against back-pressure in closed-loop circuits. Oil cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to prevent wear in the precision-ground lands. Switching time can be tuned through the S2 adjustment, allowing the user to match valve response to cylinder or motor inertia.
