It functions as a pilot-operated directional spool unit, using electro-hydraulic actuation to shift flow paths in automated hydraulic circuits. Its solenoid pilot runs on 24 V DC, so control electronics can be powered from common machine supplies. The valve is specified in nominal size NG25, giving a flow channel suited to medium-to-high capacity manifolds, while a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar allows it to handle high-pressure pump lines at ports P, A, and B. Subplate mounting lets technicians swap the unit without disturbing pipework, and the ISO 4401 porting pattern aligns with standardized manifold layouts. Internal pilot supply and return (ET) keep external plumbing minimal, but a minimum pilot pressure of 4.5 bar must be available for reliable spool actuation.
A pilot circuit limit of 250 bar protects the control stage from overload, and hydraulic spool return brings the valve back to its neutral position once pilot pressure is removed. Electrical power reaches the coil through a DIN EN 175301-803 connector coded K4, providing a sealed plug-and-socket interface. A concealed manual override identified as N9 lets service personnel shift the spool mechanically when the solenoid is de-energized. To moderate pilot oil flow, a Ø1.0 mm throttle insert labeled B10 is installed in the inlet channel, and any auxiliary reduced-pressure port marked d3 is restricted to 45 bar. NBR seal material withstands common mineral oils and maintains leakage control across the temperature range encountered in industrial hydraulic systems.
