Pilot oil is supplied and returned externally, which keeps control pressure stable when the main line experiences rapid fluctuations; this pilot section is designed for pressures up to 250 bar. The T port is also limited to 250 bar to protect return plumbing. Mounting follows the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 pattern so the valve can be installed on standard subplates. An internal preload valve set at 4.5 bar keeps the spool centered until commanded, preventing unintended flow at low pressure. Switching speed can be moderated by the S2 discharge control, which meters pilot oil to reduce hydraulic shock during direction changes.
