The internal pilot stage is a high-power 6E pilot valve that channels both pilot supply and pilot return internally (ET), reducing external plumbing. A four-way flow path allows the valve to route pressure and tank lines to two actuator ports for typical cylinder or motor control. A B10 throttle insert is fitted in channel P to limit inlet flow and damp pressure surges during spool shifts.

For three-position configurations, the pilot must receive at least 13 bar before the spool can reach its center position. Continuous service is possible with hydraulic fluid temperatures up to 80 °C and ambient air between −20 °C and 50 °C. A concealed N9 manual override lets technicians shift the spool mechanically during setup or when electrical power is unavailable. These pressure and temperature limits enable the valve to control actuators reliably in presses, plastics machinery, or mobile hydraulic equipment.
