A spring-centered three-position version needs at least 13 bar pilot pressure to shift the spool from neutral. Permissible hydraulic fluid temperature reaches +80 °C, and stored units should not exceed an ambient of +40 °C to preserve seal integrity. Mechanical fastening requires six M12 × 60 screws per ISO 4762 to secure the housing to the subplate. The design targets a mean time to dangerous failure of 100 years, which contributes to long service intervals in critical automation cells.
