It uses electro-hydraulic actuation in which a 24 V DC pilot solenoid energizes the control stage to move the main spool. Valve size 25 matches the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 mounting pattern so it can be bolted to standard subplates without adapters. A 4-way internal gallery layout connects pressure, tank, and two work ports, and three spring-centered positions automatically return the spool to its neutral location when the solenoid is de-energized. External pilot oil supply and external pilot oil return isolate the control stage from main line transients and allow the valve to operate on cleaner fluid. The pilot circuit functions between a minimum pressure of 12.5 bar and a maximum of 210 bar, ensuring reliable shifting without overstressing the control components. Working ports P, A, and B tolerate system pressures up to 350 bar, while the tank port T is limited to 250 bar to protect downstream plumbing. Pilot drain port Y is rated for 210 bar so backpressure in the pilot return does not impair spool response. A concealed manual override designated N9 lets maintenance staff shift the valve mechanically during commissioning or in the event of electrical loss without exposing the mechanism to accidental actuation. These pressure and control features position the valve for demanding industrial motion tasks.
