The H-4WEH16W7X/6EG24N9K4/Z valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. Designed for hydraulic automation, it directs flow between work ports with electrically piloted spool movement. The unit is built in nominal size NG16, and its interface follows the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 porting pattern for standardized subplate mounting. External pilot oil is supplied through port X and returned through port Y so the control stage is isolated from the main circuit. In the W flow path it handles up to 300 L/min, while ports P, A, and B tolerate operating pressures up to 350 bar. The pilot circuit accepts pressure to 250 bar and shifts reliably once 14 bar is reached.
Fluid cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to protect the spool and seals. A concealed N9 manual override allows mechanical shifting during power loss without exposing the actuator in normal service. The tank port T is rated for 250 bar, and the drain port Y withstands 210 bar during dynamic conditions. Installation requires M10 × 60 mounting screws tightened to 58 Nm to secure the housing. Solenoids are energized with a 24 V DC supply. When centered, the combined A-t and b-t passage area is 6 mm² to restrict standby leakage.
