The H-4WEH16W7X/6EG24N9ETS2DK24L2B10D3V-SO43A-1791 directional spool valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. As an electro-hydraulic unit, it converts electrical command signals into hydraulic movement for circuit control. The valve is sized NG16, which defines mounting dimensions and flow capabilities, and follows the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 porting pattern so it aligns with standard subplates. Internal pilot oil supply and return simplify piping because no external pilot lines are required. A solenoid coil rated at 24 V DC energizes the pilot stage, allowing direct connection to common control voltages. When symbol W is used, the main stage passes up to 300 l/min, enabling high-volume actuator circuits. Pressure in ports P, A, and B may reach 350 bar while port T is allowed up to 250 bar, covering typical industrial system limits. These ratings let the valve direct flow under high load without compromising service life.
Pilot functions are supported up to 250 bar, providing a safety margin above the 14 bar minimum pilot pressure required to shift the spring-centered spool. A secondary pressure limit of 45 bar on the d3 line protects auxiliary branches that sense or drain pilot oil. Fluoroelastomer sealing elements made from FKM resist aggressive fluids and elevated temperatures, maintaining leak-tight performance. A concealed manual override is integrated so maintenance staff can reposition the spool when power is absent without exposing moving parts. Switching time can be fine-tuned through the S2 discharge control, allowing optimization of response for different loads. An optional Ø 1.0 mm throttle insert, coded B10, can be fitted to moderate pilot flow and damp pressure shocks. In the neutral position, a 6 mm² cross-section between a–t and B–t limits stand-by leakage, improving energy efficiency. Together these features tailor the valve to precise, high-pressure motion sequences in automated machinery.
