Pilot control pressure must stay above 14 bar to center the spring-loaded spool and must not exceed 250 bar to protect the pilot stage. An internal pressure-reducing valve limits secondary pilot pressure to 45 bar to prevent overload of the solenoid armature cavity. These pressure limits coordinate with the high flow rating listed earlier to maintain stable actuation across the full operating range.
