The H-4WEH16E7X/6EW110N9TDA directional spool valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and is used to route hydraulic flow in automated machinery. Its four-way configuration provides separate pressure, return, and two work ports so cylinders or motors can be driven in both directions. The NG16 frame size suits mid-range manifolds and keeps pressure drop low at rated conditions. A maximum flow of 300 l/min sustains fast cycle times, while ports P, A, and B withstand up to 350 bar for high-pressure applications such as forming presses. An integrated 6E pilot valve shifts the main spool with electrically actuated pilot oil. This control oil is taken from an external supply at port X, ensuring stable operation even if main line pressure fluctuates, and it needs at least 14 bar to move the spool. After actuation the pilot oil returns internally to tank through the T line, removing the need for a separate drain connection.

Reliable service is further supported by a required fluid cleanliness of ISO 4406 class 20/18/15, which limits particulate abrasion on moving parts. A concealed manual override allows local shifting during setup while preventing accidental engagement in normal operation. The T port endures up to 250 bar so the valve can function on systems with pressurized returns, and the pilot passages accommodate the same 250 bar maximum to keep control integrity at elevated pressures. When electrical power is removed a spring-centered return pushes the spool back to neutral, stopping flow to the actuator. Mounting to a subplate is accomplished with four M10 × 60 screws that resist vibration and hydraulic shock. The housing uses porting pattern ISO 4401-07-07-0-05, allowing direct replacement of other NG16 valves without re-machining the manifold.
