The 4WH6Y5X/12 directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and provides hydraulic actuation for automated motion control. Acceptable viscosity ranges from 2.8 to 500 mm²/s, so both light and heavy oils can be used without loss of control accuracy. Fluid temperatures may run from –30 °C to +80 °C, accommodating cold starts as well as elevated reservoir conditions when nitrile seals are installed. A switching frequency ceiling of 7 200 cycles per hour lets the spool shift rapidly in servo-type applications while maintaining thermal stability.
