The 4WH32J6X/ directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and is intended to shift pressure flow paths in hydraulic automation systems. It is hydraulically actuated and supplied in nominal size NG32 to handle high-volume circuits. Installation uses a subplate interface that follows the ISO 4401-10-09-0-05 porting pattern so manifold layouts remain standardized. The mounting face must maintain flatness of 0.01 mm per 100 mm and a contact surface roughness not exceeding 4 µm Rz to achieve leak-free sealing. Six M20 x 80 screws of grade 10.9 secure the housing to the baseplate according to ISO 4762. Pilot oil enters through external port X and returns through external port Y, separating control oil from the main flow.
Continuous operating pressure of 280 bar is permitted on ports P, A, and B. Port T can handle backpressure up to 250 bar without damage. The pilot stage accepts a maximum pilot pressure of 250 bar so remote logic elements can use the same supply. System oil must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness class 20/18/15 to protect spool lands from contamination. The mean time to dangerous failure is calculated at 150 years, supporting long-duty installations in safety-rated machinery.
