The 4WH22H7X/ directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and is intended to route flow in hydraulic automation systems. This 4-way model in nominal size NG25 uses hydraulic actuation to shift the spool and change circuit paths. Working ports P, A, and B are rated for 350 bar, while the pilot channel receives oil externally through port X at a maximum of 210 bar. The body attaches to a subplate that follows the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 interface, and six M12 × 60 screws specified in ISO 4762 are applied with 100 Nm of torque to secure the valve and protect the Rz-machined sealing lines.
Fluid cleanliness must be 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to maintain reliable operation, and the tank port T is designed for 250 bar when the circuit unloads. Pilot oil returns externally through port Y, which is limited to 210 bar, preventing back-pressure on the control stage. A sealing surface finish of Rzmax 4 supports leak-free service at these pressures. The mean time to dangerous failure reaches 150 years, indicating a long expected service life in continuous industrial use.
