It directs flow in large hydraulic circuits for automation tasks where fast switching and high capacity are required. Pilot oil is supplied internally through channel ET and returns internally through port T, eliminating external pilot lines. The valve functions at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C and hydraulic fluid temperatures up to 80 °C. An oil cleanliness level of 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 must be maintained to avoid abrasive wear. The mean time to dangerous failure is rated at 100 years, supporting long-term reliability. Achieving the shortest switching time calls for a pilot flow of 45 l/min. Mounting screws should be tightened to 340 Nm with a tolerance of ±10 %, and the surface coating may be applied to a maximum thickness of 100 µm to protect against corrosion without affecting fit.
