The 4WEH22H7X/6EW110N9TSDA directional spool valve is built by Bosch Rexroth within the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It uses electro-hydraulic actuation to shift a 4-way spool for controlled direction of flow in automated hydraulic systems. The nominal size NG25 (W.H 22) sets its flow capacity for medium-duty circuits. A porting pattern matching ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 allows installation on components that share the same interface. The main spool is returned hydraulically, which governs spool position once pilot pressure is removed. A high-power 6E pilot control valve drives the shift operation. Pilot oil is supplied externally through port X so the pilot stage is independent of main line pressure. The oil returns internally via port T, removing the need for an external drain. Continuous operation is permitted up to 280 bar at ports P, A, and B.
The pilot stage withstands a maximum of 210 bar. A pilot flow of 35 l/min is necessary to reach the shortest switching time, and the supply control adjustment coded S enables fine tuning of that time. A concealed manual override designated N9 lets maintenance personnel shift the spool directly while protecting the mechanism during normal service. The valve requires oil filtered to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent contamination-related wear. These characteristics complete the specification set and provide stable performance in electro-hydraulic automation tasks.
