The 4WEH22G7X/6EW24N9DA/H18 directional spool valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits and fits valve banks using the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 interface. The NG25 (W.H 22) size gives passage dimensions suited for medium- to high-flow actuators. An electro-hydraulic actuation scheme converts a 24 V AC pilot signal into spool movement for remote control from machine I/O. The internal pilot stage employs a 6E high-power solenoid valve to deliver fast shift forces. Pilot-operated construction reduces the electrical load on the main spool and allows reliable shifting under system pressure. The G three-position spool provides two flow paths and a centered closed position for hold functions.
The valve tolerates a maximum of 280 bar on pressure ports P, A, and B, so it can serve heavy-duty cylinders or motors. Port T can withstand 250 bar, permitting back-pressure in return lines without risk of case leakage. The pilot circuit works up to 210 bar and still initiates movement with as little as 10.5 bar when fed externally, giving flexibility in manifold designs. Port Y is rated for 160 bar, enabling safe drainage of pilot oil to a low-pressure gallery. A concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool during commissioning while protecting it from accidental use afterward. Fluid cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 20/18/15 to prevent wear in the precision-ground spool lands. Together these limits safeguard the housing and seals from fatigue during continuous cycling.
