The 4WEH22E7X/6EW110N9ETSDA/10B10 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits by shifting a four-way spool through an electro-hydraulic pilot stage. The unit features electro-hydraulic actuation, so an embedded pilot valve applies pressure to move the main spool instead of a direct solenoid force. Its four-way layout permits separate pressure, tank, and dual work ports for bidirectional cylinder motion. A nominal size of 25 supports high flow rates common on presses and large industrial drives. Pressure at ports P, A, and B may reach 280 bar, while the tank port tolerates up to 250 bar, enabling operation on medium-to-high pressure systems. The body follows mounting pattern ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 and bolts to a subplate, allowing quick exchange without disturbing pipework.

The pilot stage accepts a maximum of 210 bar, which matches typical control pressure lines without overloading the pilot components. Pilot oil is supplied internally, eliminating external lines and simplifying manifold design. Return flow from the pilot circuit is also routed internally to the T gallery to avoid separate drain tubing. In the ET version, pilot ports X and Y remain closed, so the valve can be installed even when auxiliary pilot ports are absent on the baseplate. A concealed manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool temporarily while protecting the button from accidental actuation. Dynamic seals are manufactured from NBR, providing compatibility with common mineral oils used in industrial hydraulics. The hydraulic fluid must meet cleanliness class 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to guard the precision spool clearances from contamination-related wear.
