The 4WEH22D7X/6EW110N9DAL CSA directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and directs pressure fluid in hydraulic automation systems. It is built to the NG25 nominal size so it fits subplates that follow the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 porting pattern. The housing tolerates a continuous operating pressure of 280 bar and can route up to 400 l/min at that pressure, allowing fast cylinder movement in large machinery. Control oil enters through external port X and drains through external port Y, separating pilot flow from the main circuit. Spool actuation is handled by a high-power 4WE 6E pilot valve that is energized with a 110 V AC coil. The pilot stage needs at least 11 bar to shift the main spool and accepts up to 210 bar, giving designers flexibility when selecting the pilot supply source.
The valve handles hydraulic media temperatures up to +80 °C with its NBR seals and can run in ambient conditions as hot as +50 °C without derating. System oil cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to protect the precision spool lands from abrasion. A concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance personnel move the spool when electrical power is absent while preventing accidental operation during normal service. The body mounts with six M12 × 60 screws defined by ISO 4762, and each fastener should be tightened to 100 Nm (±10 %) to preserve gasket compression. Observing these limits secures the valve in place and keeps switching performance stable during extended duty cycles.
