The 4WEH22D7X/6EW110N9DA directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation within the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It is supplied in nominal size NG25 (W.H 22) so it fits manifolds designed for that flow class. A D-coded spool establishes the internal flow connections required for typical cylinder control. When system pressure reaches 280 bar, the valve can pass up to 400 l/min, while the main ports p, a, and b remain limited to the same 280 bar rating. Pilot actuation tolerates pressures up to 210 bar, and a minimum of 11 bar is needed to shift a spring-returned two-spool assembly. The pilot chamber volume is 15.28 cm³, which limits the amount of control oil displaced during each stroke. A concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance staff shift the spool locally without exposing protruding levers.
The unit attaches to a manifold by subplate mounting, using six M12 × 60 screws conforming to ISO 4762. Each screw should be tightened to 100 Nm ± 10 % to preserve gasket compression. Port locations follow the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 pattern so the valve aligns with standardized passages. The mating surface must not exceed a roughness of Rzmax 4 to avoid external leakage. Port T can withstand back-pressures up to 250 bar, while the external drain port Y is limited to 160 bar, enabling operation in circuits with elevated return pressures. An MTTFd of 100 years supports long service intervals and high machine availability.
