The 4WEH16J7X/6EW110N9DAL CSA valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic oil to actuators in automated machinery and uses a spool type J to switch flow paths under electrical control. The valve is built in nominal size NG16 so it mates with mid-range manifold ports. Its interface follows porting pattern ISO 4401-07-07-0-05, allowing standard subplate mounting in power units and distribution blocks. When the spool is fully shifted it admits a volumetric flow of 300 l/min, enabling rapid cylinder or motor motion. Channels A and B can be pressurized up to 280 bar while maintaining reliable sealing. For pilot operation the valve needs a stable supply; the spring-centered version starts to shift at a minimum pilot pressure of 14 bar and can be driven up to 250 bar without overstressing the control circuit. Exhaust from the pilot stage must be routed properly, since the return in port y and port Ac is limited to 160 bar, whereas the return in port y and port Dc may reach 210 bar. These limits ensure that the pilot piston can move freely and that the main spool follows command signals without delay. Surface protection is achieved with a coating that does not exceed 100 µm, preventing interference with mounting clearances while providing corrosion resistance. Four ISO 4762 M10×60 screws secure the body to the subplate, supplying adequate clamping force against pressure-induced separation. The valve integrates into hydraulic systems that demand consistent switching performance under heavy-duty service.
