The 4WEH16HC7X/6EW110N9DA valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series and directs flow in hydraulic automation systems. It is built to the NG16 nominal size, defining the internal cross-section for oil passage, and follows the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 porting pattern that positions the pressure and work ports on the mounting face. Fluid cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 20/18/15. The assembly carries a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar on ports P, A, and B and passes up to 300 l/min in its two-position hydraulic end. Pilot control tolerates as much as 250 bar while requiring at least 4.5 bar on the internal x port or 14 bar at the two-position hydraulic end to shift the spool. A pilot chamber volume of 11.45 cm³ must be filled each time the valve changes state.
The unit is installed horizontally and is secured with four M10 × 60 bolts that are tightened to 58 Nm. The mounting face must be machined to a roughness of Rzmax 4 so that the seals contact a smooth surface. A protective layer not exceeding 100 µm in thickness guards external areas against corrosion. Pilot return pressure on the internal y port (Ac) is limited to 160 bar, while the tank port may accommodate up to 250 bar when y is routed externally. These limits keep return flow forces within design margins.
