The 4WEH16G7X/6EW110N9DAL directional spool valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits using electro-hydraulic actuation and is intended for subplate mounting. The porting pattern follows ISO 4401, so it aligns with standard manifold layouts. Pilot oil is supplied internally from port P and is returned externally via port Y, which separates pilot drainage from the main return line. When the spool is spring-centered, the pilot chamber volume is 5.72 cm³, a figure relevant for sizing control lines and response times.
Maximum operating pressure reaches 280 bar at ports P, A, and B, while port T is limited to 250 bar; the same 250 bar value also serves as the maximum pilot pressure. Contamination limits are defined by cleanliness class 20/18/15 under ISO 4406. The mean time to dangerous failure for this WEH type is 100 years. Surface coating thickness is kept below 100 µm to preserve dimensional accuracy of mounting faces, and the valve weighs 8.9 kg when fitted with two solenoids and a spring-centered spool.
