The 4WEH16EA7X/6EG220N9ETK4/B10V valve belongs to the WEH Directional Spool Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and directs hydraulic flow in automated circuits. It is built in NG16 size, giving it the capacity to pass up to 300 l/min when the E-pattern spool is in service. The spool itself is an E 3-position design that shifts the main flow paths according to electrical pilot signals. A maximum operating pressure of 280 bar at ports P, A, and B allows the component to handle high-pressure supply lines, while a spring-centered mechanism needs at least 14 bar pilot pressure to move the spool from its neutral position. Pilot oil is taken internally, so no external pilot feed is required, and control is provided by a 4WE 6 High-Power pilot stage. The solenoid on this pilot stage is rated for 220 V DC, delivering the electrical force needed for fast switching.
The wiring is completed through a DIN EN 175301-803 K4 connector, which offers a standardized interface to control cabinets. For manual intervention during commissioning or power loss, a concealed N9 override lets technicians shift the spool without energizing the coil. Port T is limited to 250 bar, protecting the return circuit, whereas the pilot supply must not exceed 250 bar and the internal pilot return is limited to 210 bar in DC operation. Proper installation calls for tightening the mounting screws to 58 Nm to secure the body against the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 manifold pattern. A throttle insert with a 1.0 mm orifice is included to meter pilot flow and damp pressure surges within the control stage.
