The 4WEH10VA4X/6EW110N9K4 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WEH Directional Spool Valves series to direct flow in hydraulic automation systems. It is built in NG10 size with a 4-way configuration and conforms to porting pattern ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 for manifold mounting. A V-coded spool provides three spring-centered positions, allowing neutral blocking when the pilot signal is absent. In its zero position the combined P-a and P-b flow area is 13 mm², supporting controlled standby leakage. The valve accepts a maximum flow of 160 l/min and withstands 280 bar on pressure, A, and B ports. Pilot oil is supplied externally through port X, and the pilot stage needs at least 12 bar to shift the main spool.
Pilot oil returns externally via port Y, and port T can tolerate 280 bar when the return line is routed outside the manifold. Actuation is on side a, driven by a solenoid that connects through a DIN EN 175301-803 K4 plug. A concealed N9 manual override permits local shifting without exposing moving parts. Hydraulic fluid must meet cleanliness class 20/18/15 according to ISO 4406 to protect the small clearances in the control edges. These design details combine to keep the valve responsive and reliable under continuous duty.
