It directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery by shifting a spool between discrete positions. Electro-hydraulic actuation allows remote control while the main stage handles system load. The valve is arranged in a 4-way configuration to route pressure and return paths to two work ports. It is built to the NG10 size standard for medium-capacity installations. A 6E high-power pilot valve moves the spool quickly for responsive circuit changes. The pilot solenoid operates on 24 V DC, and wiring is completed through a DIN EN 175301-803 K4 connector. An N9 concealed manual override enables local operation when power is absent, and pilot oil is supplied externally with return through port T.
The valve passes up to 160 l/min, providing sufficient flow for large cylinders or motors. Ports P, A, and B withstand 280 bar, allowing the unit to run in high-pressure systems. The pilot stage remains safe up to 250 bar, ensuring durability during pressure transients. Port T is also rated for 280 bar so the return line can tolerate back-pressure without damage. A minimum of 12 bar external pilot pressure is required to shift a three-position spool reliably. The body mounts on an ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 interface to fit standard subplates. Screws must be tightened to 12.5 Nm to keep the sealing faces secure under load. System oil cleanliness should meet ISO 4406 20/18/15 to prevent wear of the precision spool assembly.
