The 4WEH10H4X/6EW110N9TDA directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WEH Directional Spool Valves series. It regulates hydraulic circuits with electro-hydraulic actuation controlled by a high-power 6E pilot valve. A 4-way port arrangement links pressure, tank, and two service ports according to spool position. Pilot oil enters externally through port X and returns internally through port T, and hydraulic forces center the spool when the signal is removed. Reliable movement is maintained between 7 bar and 250 bar of pilot pressure, while the working ports tolerate up to 350 bar. When shifted, the valve conducts as much as 160 l/min, providing ample flow for medium-capacity actuators.
The unit is built in size 10 and bolts to sub-plates that follow the ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 pattern. A concealed N9 manual override allows mechanical operation during electrical failure. The sealing face is finished to a maximum roughness of Rz 4, and four M6 × 45 ISO 4762 screws secure the body to the manifold. System oil cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to protect internal lands, and the mean time to dangerous failure is calculated at 100 years under EN ISO 13849.
