Pilot energy enters through an external X connection and returns through an external Y line, so the main pressure channel remains isolated from the valve cover. To overcome spring forces the pilot stage requires a minimum supply pressure of 12 bar, and operation remains stable up to a pilot pressure limit of 250 bar that protects internal seals and bushings.

The valve conducts a maximum flow of 160 l/min, enabling moderate throughput without excessive pressure loss in power units and presses. Service ports P, A, and B withstand operating pressures up to 280 bar, so the unit can be placed on high-pressure working lines. Fluid viscosity may range from 2.8 to 500 mm²/s, giving flexibility for mineral oils or fire-resistant blends, provided temperatures stay between −20 °C and +80 °C to maintain proper film strength. Sealing elements are made of NBR, which resists standard hydraulic oils and supports the specified temperature window. The internal passages require fluid cleanliness of ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 or better to prevent spool sticking and premature wear. Electrical actuation links through a DIN EN 175301-803 connector, offering a compact interface for solenoid wiring on industrial machinery.
