It directs hydraulic flow in automated systems through a 4-way function that provides separate pressure, tank, and two actuator lines. The main spool offers three positions laid out according to symbol E, and it is shifted by a 4WE6E pilot valve that receives supply oil internally from passage X and returns it through passage T. Nominal size NG 10 supports installation on the ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 porting interface used in modular manifolds.
The valve tolerates operating pressures up to 280 bar at ports P, A, and B, while the pilot stage withstands 250 bar and needs at least 7.5 bar to shift the main spool. With the e-spool installed, flow is limited to 160 l/min to maintain controlled response. A 1.0 mm throttle insert marked B10 can be fitted in the pilot circuit for additional damping. A concealed manual override designated N9 permits local actuation during commissioning or power loss. To minimize wear, the hydraulic fluid should reach cleanliness class ISO 4406 20/18/15. The complete valve with two solenoids weighs 6.8 kg.
