As part of the WE Directional Spool Valves series, it uses a nominal size 6 envelope to fit mounting surfaces standardized to ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, allowing direct interchange with other CETOP 3 components. A wet-pin solenoid with a detachable coil actuates the spool; the coil operates from a nominal voltage of 24 V DC and draws 1.25 A, so the solenoid consumes 30 W during steady energization. Continuous operation is possible because the winding is rated for a 100 % duty cycle, preventing overheating in long machine cycles. The hydraulic end withstands 350 bar on ports P, A, and B so the valve can be placed in high-pressure supply manifolds. A maximum flow of 80 l/min passes through the metering slots without exceeding the pressure drop limits for this frame size.
The electrical interface uses a K4 plug conforming to DIN EN 175301-803, which simplifies wiring and coil replacement while maintaining the IP65 protection class that shields internal parts from dust and low-pressure water jets. A concealed manual override marked N9 lets maintenance staff shift the spool without energizing the solenoid and avoids accidental activation during operation. Switching cycles can be repeated up to 4.2 times per second, supporting rapid on-off control in servo-hydraulic sequences. Port T tolerates 210 bar in direct current operation, enabling back-pressure applications such as counterbalance circuits. Oil cleanliness has to meet ISO 4406 20/18/15 to prevent wear on the precision-ground spool lands. To smooth flow transients, a 0.8 mm throttle insert identified as N08 is factory fitted in ports A and B. Together these features allow the valve to maintain reliable performance at its rated flow while protecting internal surfaces and keeping system response consistent.
