The 4WE6X2A6X/EG24N9K4/V directional spool valve is part of the WE Directional Spool Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and serves to shift pressure fluid between ports in hydraulic automation circuits. It is built to nominal size 6, and the mounting face follows porting pattern ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 to fit standard subplates. The pressure, service, and pump ports tolerate operating pressure up to 350 bar, while the tank port is rated for 210 bar. When energized with direct current the valve allows a maximum flow of 80 l/min. A concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance staff reposition the spool when electrical power is unavailable. FKM seal material provides chemical resistance against common hydraulic oils and elevated temperatures.
The solenoid section of the same valve runs on 24 V DC, draws a rated current of 1.25 A, and therefore absorbs 30 W during actuation. Continuous use is permitted because the coil is specified for a 100 % ED duty cycle, and its surface temperature is limited to 120 °C under rated conditions. Electrical connection is made through a K4 plug to DIN EN 175301-803, which, in combination with the IP65 enclosure, protects the coil against dust and water jets. These measures keep the windings dry and maintain functional reliability during prolonged operation.
