The 4WE6W6X/EG96N9K4/V/62 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series and directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery. It is built in nominal size 6, so it fits NG6 subplates without adapters. The port face follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 pattern, allowing interchange with standardized manifolds. A maximum operating pressure of 350 bar on ports P, A, and B supports high-pressure circuits, while a maximum flow of 80 l/min in direct current service maintains adequate actuator speed. The tank port tolerates up to 210 bar, and the manual override can be used safely only when tank pressure is below 50 bar. A 96 V DC solenoid coil actuates the spool, drawing a rated current of 0.33 A during steady operation.
The valve is intended for continuous duty because the coil is specified for a 100 % ED duty cycle, and its nominal electrical power is limited to 30 W to control heat generation. A permissible switch-off overvoltage of 500 V protects the winding insulation when the circuit opens. The electrical interface is a DIN EN 175301-803 K4 plug, which also brings the ingress protection level to IP65 once the matching gasket is installed. All dynamic seals are made from FKM, giving resistance to mineral oils and higher temperatures. Positioning on the mounting face is guided by a locating hole and 3 × 8 mm spring pin defined in ISO 8752, ensuring repeatable alignment. With two solenoids fitted, the assembly weighs 1.95 kg, keeping handling uncomplicated during installation or service.
