The 4WE6J73-6X/EG24N9K4/A12/62 CSA valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series and is intended to route pressurized oil to cylinders or motors in automated hydraulic systems. It employs a 24 V DC nominal coil so it can be driven directly from common machine power rails, and a ±10 percent voltage tolerance keeps the solenoid stable during line fluctuations. The coil draws 30 W, delivering the magnetic force required to shift the spool, while a 100 percent ED duty cycle allows the coil to remain energized continuously. Insulation class F supports the resulting thermal load. Electrical connection is made through a K4 connector that follows DIN EN 175301-803, and the enclosure meets IP65, protecting the solenoid against dust and water jets. When electrical power is unavailable, a concealed N9 manual override lets maintenance staff change spool position without energizing the coil.


The hydraulic side of the valve tolerates 350 bar on ports P, A, and B, enabling control of high-pressure circuits, while the tank port is rated for 210 bar to accommodate elevated return pressure. Flow capacity reaches 80 l/min so medium-size actuators receive adequate oil volume, and a switching frequency of 4.2 cycles per second supports rapid directional changes. The A12 switching-time increase feature deliberately lengthens spool movement to soften pressure shocks. Accurate mounting on a subplate is aided by a locating hole that accepts an ISO 8752-3×8 locking pin, and the interface follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern for interchangeability with CETOP 03 manifolds. During continuous duty the coil surface can reach 120 °C, so surrounding components must withstand that temperature.
