The 4WE6J73-6X/EG24N9DAL/A12/62 directional spool valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the WE Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic oil to cylinders and motors in automated equipment and fits size 6 (NG6) cavities so manifolds stay compact. The mounting interface follows the NFPA D03 pattern, permitting direct attachment to widely used subplates. A porting layout of ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 aligns the pressure and work ports with international manifold standards. The valve tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar at the pressure, A, and B ports, allowing high force outputs. The solenoid is rated for 24 V DC, enabling direct connection to common control supplies, and it draws 1.25 A under this voltage to simplify fuse sizing. Electrical demand is limited to 30 W, which helps manage cabinet heat. A 100% ED duty cycle allows the coil to remain energized continuously during long process runs. Even under continuous duty, the coil surface temperature does not exceed 120 °C, protecting insulation and nearby wiring. The enclosure achieves IP65, guarding the internals from dust and low-pressure washdown. Wiring enters through a DAL 1/2-14 NPT cable gland, providing a secure threaded seal for conduit. A concealed N9 manual override lets technicians shift the spool during setup without exposing moving parts in operation. Positioning accuracy is maintained by a locating pin included with the /62 option, preventing rotation during installation.
