The 4WE6J73-6X/EG205N9K4/A12 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WE Directional Spool Valves series to route hydraulic flow in automation systems. The unit withstands a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar on pressure and work ports, allowing it to control high-force actuators. A peak flow rate of 80 l/min supports medium-capacity circuits without excessive pressure loss, and hydraulic fluids with viscosities up to 500 mm²/s can be used. Cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to protect the spool and seats from wear. The hydraulic fluid may reach 80 °C, and surrounding ambient air may reach 50 °C without derating. The tank port resists 210 bar return pressure. A concealed manual override (N9) enables local shifting when power is unavailable, and this override accepts tank pressures up to 50 bar.
Two solenoids bring the assembly weight to 1.95 kg and are energized by a nominal 205 V DC supply drawing 0.16 A. Surge arrestors should limit reverse voltage to the recommended 410 V, while the coils tolerate switch-off spikes up to 500 V. The K4 electrical interface uses a 3-pin DIN EN 175301-803 connector for quick field wiring. Once plugged, the enclosure meets IP65, blocking dust and water jets from the coil housing. These electrical and environmental limits define installation boundaries for automated hydraulic equipment.
