It uses a size 6 body to fit compact manifolds, and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 mounting interface aligns the ports with standard subplates for quick replacement. A maximum operating pressure of 350 bar at ports A, B, and P allows the valve to serve high-pressure systems, while flow capability reaches 60 l/min on AC-powered versions to keep medium-capacity lines supplied. Tank return pressure is limited to 160 bar at port T to safeguard reservoir connections. The valve should be supplied with oil filtered to ISO 4406 20/18/15 to protect the spool lands from abrasion, and FKM seals are fitted so it can handle high-temperature or chemically aggressive fluids. During installation, a locating hole with a locking pin fixes the body’s angular position and avoids rotation.
The solenoid coil can reach a surface temperature of 120 °C under load, so adjacent wiring must tolerate that heat. Continuous duty is permitted because the coil is rated for a 100 percent ED duty cycle, and designers can size transformers knowing that switch-on power peaks at 220 VA before settling to a 50 VA holding level. Voltage may vary by ±10 percent without affecting actuation, and a concealed manual override lets technicians shift the spool manually for testing or emergency operation. Command signals should not exceed two actuations per second, the specified switching frequency for AC models, to prevent thermal buildup and mechanical fatigue. With both solenoids installed, the assembly weighs 1.95 kg, keeping manifold loads low in densely packed hydraulic control blocks.
