The 4WE6J6X/EW110N9K4/B08N12 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WE Directional Spool Valves series and provides two-position flow control for hydraulic automation systems. It mounts on a size 6 interface that follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, allowing direct installation on standard subplates. Actuation is handled by a high-power wet-pin solenoid that runs from a 110 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply. At energization the coil requires 220 VA, then drops to a 50 VA holding level to limit heat buildup. Continuous service is supported by a 100 % ED duty rating, so the coil may remain powered without downtime. Power reaches the solenoid through a K4 plug in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803, providing a sealed yet serviceable electrical connection.
The valve includes a concealed N9 manual override that lets technicians shift the spool mechanically during setup or in the event of power loss. Hydraulic limits are set at 350 bar for ports A, B, and P, while the tank return may reach 160 bar. A maximum flow of 60 l/min can be switched, and the unit operates reliably at up to two cycles per second to suit fast sequencing tasks. A 0.8 mm throttle insert in port P and 1.2 mm inserts in ports A and B moderate flow and reduce pressure spikes. Oil cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 code 20/18/15 to maintain spool accuracy and prolong service life.
