Inrush demand is 220 VA at switch-on, providing the magnetic force needed to shift the spool. Once actuated, holding power falls to 50 VA, reducing heat generation during prolonged energization. The coil tolerates a voltage variation of ±10 %, maintaining reliable shifting under moderate supply fluctuations. Maximum switching frequency is 2 cycles per second, which prevents overheating and ensures consistent response. Operation is permitted with hydraulic fluid temperatures up to 80 °C when FKM seals are used.
