For continuous service the coil is rated for a 100 % duty cycle, so repeated switching will not require a cool-down period. Class H insulation further protects the winding against elevated temperatures that develop during long energization periods. A concealed manual override identified by code N9 lets maintenance personnel move the spool without electrical power, and a spring return automatically centers the element when the coil is de-energized. The tank port withstands 160 bar, maintaining safety when back-pressure rises in return lines. A 1.0 mm throttle insert in port P moderates the pilot oil flow to improve shift stability. The hydraulic medium must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 cleanliness to preserve spool fit and reduce wear, and FKM seals resist aggressive fluids that comply with this requirement.
