The 4WE6J6X/EG96N9K4/B25 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WE Directional Spool Valves series. Intended for hydraulic automation, it switches flow paths to actuators when its solenoid shifts the spool. The valve employs a K4 connector in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803, and its enclosure carries an IP65 rating to resist dust and water jets. The solenoid system meets protection class I defined by VDE 0580. Installation uses the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 mounting pattern for subplate assembly. Ports A, B, and P tolerate operating pressures up to 350 bar. A 2.5 mm throttle orifice in port P moderates inlet flow, and the hydraulic fluid must satisfy ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 cleanliness.
The solenoid coil is designed for 96 V DC and draws 0.33 A at that voltage. A concealed N9 manual override permits emergency actuation, with the tank return limited to 50 bar during manual operation. Under alternating-current drive the valve passes up to 60 l/min, and direct-current operation allows 80 l/min. Tank port pressures are limited to 160 bar for AC service and 210 bar for DC service. The interface follows the D03 NFPA port size, ensuring interchange with common manifold blocks.
