The 4WE6J6X/EG24NDAL/B10 CSA directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the WE Directional Spool Valves series. It directs hydraulic flow in automation circuits by shifting the J-coded spool to alternate passages. The valve is built for a nominal size 6 envelope, making it suitable for compact manifolds. Its solenoid requires a 24 V DC supply and draws 1.25 A, so standard machine control power can be used without auxiliary converters. With a nominal power rating of 30 W, heat generation remains limited during service. The coil can stay energized indefinitely because the duty cycle is 100 % ED, which eliminates the need for timed cooling intervals. Backpressure is tolerated at the tank line up to 210 bar, so remote mounted return circuits remain viable. A throttle insert in the P port with a 1.0 mm orifice, coded B10, permits preliminary damping of surge flow directly at the inlet. Threaded process ports are cut to 1/2-14 NPT, enabling direct connection to North American pipe fittings. The housing meets IP65 ingress protection, sealing the coil against dust and low-pressure water jets encountered in mobile or washdown environments. An integral manual override lets technicians shift the spool during commissioning or power loss, and overall installation is compact because the electrical interface and pilot channels are kept within the same envelope.
