The 4WE6J6X/EG24N9DK25L/62 directional spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WE Directional Spool Valves series for routing pressure and return flow in hydraulic automation. It is actuated by a wet-pin solenoid with a detachable coil, so the magnetic assembly is cooled by the system fluid and coil replacement can be carried out without opening the hydraulic envelope. A 24 V DC supply energizes the solenoid; the design retains full function with a ±10 percent voltage swing and draws a nominal 30 W, limiting heat in control cabinets. A continuous duty rating of 100 percent ED lets the valve stay energized for extended cycles. Electrical connection is via a 5-pole Mini-Change plug that includes an indicator light to show coil status. The valve supports flow rates up to 80 l/min, enabling medium-capacity cylinders and motors to be driven through the body. Working ports P, A, and B tolerate pressures of 350 bar, while the tank port T is limited to 210 bar when direct current is used, preventing return-line overloading. It fits the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 (NFPA D03) porting pattern, and the nominal size 6 footprint allows compact manifold layouts. An IP65 housing prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets so the assembly can be mounted in exposed machine areas. Accurate positioning on the subplate is achieved by a locating hole that accepts a locking pin conforming to ISO 8752-3x8-St, eliminating misalignment during service replacement.
