It directs hydraulic flow to automate cylinders and motors in industrial machinery. Oil cleanliness must be held at code 20/18/15 under ISO 4406 so the spool land clearances are not obstructed. A locating hole sized for an ISO 8752 3×8 spring pin aligns the body during assembly and prevents rotation under load. These hydraulic and mechanical limits combine with the electrical characteristics stated earlier to integrate the valve reliably into hydraulic automation circuits.
