The 4WE6J6X/EG24K40SO43A-1799+1833 valve is built by Bosch Rexroth as part of the WE Directional Spool Valves series and directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery. It follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 (D03) porting pattern, allowing direct mounting on common subplates without adapters. The main pressure ports endure up to 350 bar while the tank port is limited to 210 bar, enabling safe return flow. A continuous volume of 80 l/min can pass through the spool, supporting medium-demand circuits. Its enclosure complies with IP69K, so high-pressure wash-downs do not compromise operation. The unit can be installed in any orientation, which simplifies manifold layout. To avoid contamination, fluid must reach ISO 4406 cleanliness class 20/18/15 before entering the valve.
The solenoid section is designed for a nominal supply of 24 V DC, and the coil continues to operate correctly when voltage varies by ±10 %. At that supply it draws a rated 1.25 A, producing 30 W of power to shift the spool. Continuous energization is permitted because the duty cycle is 100 %. The winding insulation and housing dissipate heat until the coil surface reaches, but does not exceed, 120 °C. An internal suppressor limits the switch-off transient to 500 V, protecting upstream electronics. Electrical connection is made through a DT04-2PA Deutsch plug, providing sealed two-pin wiring suitable for mobile equipment.
